In my private practice I work with a therapy model called Internal Family Systems (IFS) - a holistic therapy that integrates work with the mind, body, and spiritual aspect of human nature.
I am also a certified therapist of the Embrace Therapy model that originates from Gestalt therapy, and which integrates these three essential elements - body, mind, and soul.
I have completed a therapy course in Compassionate Inquiry and an introductory course in Somatic Experiencing, both addressing the work with trauma.
Prior to studying therapy, I graduated from cultural studies from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw, and I completed studies in choreography at the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam that allowed me to deepen my passion for working with the body and with dance.
I am currently in the process of certification as an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, which is my preferred model for working with clients. I consider it the most effective therapeutic model.
At the moment (until further notice) sessions are held online via Zoom platform.
Sessions are in English and last for 60 min.

Meer over werkwijze
A few words about the IFS model.
IFS was developed more than 40 years ago by Richard Schwartz PhD. It is an experiential, non-pathologising model of psychotherapy. The basic assumption of the model is that the mind is naturally multiple, that we all have many valuable Parts within us that come with us into the world. In therapy, we access them by listening to what is happening in our bodies, senses, and emotions.
In everyday life, we can recognise the language of Parts when we hear ourselves say, "a part of me wants to keep on working and be productive, but another part needs to rest and do nothing...".
IFS assumes that all of us without exception have access to the Self - the source of compassion and an innate ability to heal. In therapy session we slowly develop a trusting relationship between the Self and the Parts, bringing back balance to the entire internal system and restoring Parts’ naturally valuable states.
Healing takes place through the release of Parts’s burdens (called unburdening) which are the extreme beliefs and emotions, for example: “I’m worthless”, “the world is a dangerous place” etc.
Release of burdens allows transformation of a person’s inner life, in consequence healing its relationships with the outer world.

My sessions with Aleksandra was a very beautiful experience.

In a beautiful and respectful manner Aleksandra has guided me through a few sessions. During our meetings I felt taken care of and held by her presence and wisdom. That helped me to develop trusting relationship between us and move forward. Thanks to her I finally could recognize how loving I can be with a very young part of me. That was a truly touching experience.
